The Emergence of Spring

Spring just round the  corner the tell tale signs, snowdrops  emerging through the hardened winter ground.

As you see the first bulbs of spring what does this mean to you?

For me : it means renewal, energy, hope , colour back into life after  a long winter of hibernation, creativity. Our feelings and emotions an energy source . channelling that energy into expression and transformation, promoted by creativity bringing a sense of freedom  within the self.  An  expression that is both healing and trans-formative.  Creativity bringing about growth and change Emerging – coming into view becoming known, rather like  the spring bulbs signalling  the beginning of something wonderful.

“Creativity can never be explained by appeal to reason alone. Like the birth of a child, creativity compels us not to explanation but to wonder and awe”

George Vaillant

Thought for the month of March

LOVE IS LIKE WATER IF IT DOESN’T FLOW IT STAGNATES
THE HIGHEST EXPRESSION OF LOVE IS CREATIVITY
GAPS APPEAR IN PLACES WHERE WE ARE AFRAID TO SEE OURSELVES
LOVE DANCES IN THE FRESHNESS OF THE UNKNOWN
TO SEE LOVE IN THE MOMENT YOU MUST CLEAR THE WINDOWS OF PERCEPTION
WHEN LOVE IS REPLACED BY AN OBJECT THE RESULT IS ADDICTION
THE SIGHTS AND SOUND OF NATURE  ARE REMINDERS OF A LOVING CREATION
DREAMS COME TRUE WHEN THEY ARE HELD QUIETLY IN THE HEART
IF YOU BLOCK YOUR DESIRES, YOU BLOCK YOUR NATURAL AVENUE OF GROWTH
A HEART THAT HAS LEARNED TO TRUST CAN BE AT REST IN THE WORLD

Love

February is the month dedicated to demonstrate your love for another symbolized by Valentines day.

Love an essential need for humanity. We all need to believe that we are loved and lovable.

We take our first breath and begin life with confidence and innocence.  Love in that moment not questioned.  When you look at you today can you make statements like I am completely loved and I am completely lovable?

I am reminded of a book written by Deepak  Chopra – the Path to Love.  He explores how our hearts have lost their centre and why love so often falls short of filling a deep aching need within us.  He talks about rediscovering the love we long for, rich meaningful, lasting by replacing the missing element spirituality

Love is meant to heal

Love is meant to renew

Love is meant to make us safe

Love is meant to inspire us with its power

love is meant to make us certain, without doubt

Love is meant to oust all fear

Love is meant to unveil immortality

Love is meant to bring peace

Love is meant to harmonize differences

Love is meant to bring us closer to God

Deepak encourages us to write down what we want from Love.  What do I want from Love ?

Love is meant to Heal: I want to heal the pain caused by my parents neglect

Love is meant to renew: I want to have a renewed energy in my relationships and feel energised by my work

Love is meant to inspire us: I want to express love when I feel it and not give in to anger and fear.

A great example of this is the free expression of love between me and my 5 yr old .We express our love for each other daily  . She writes me love letters all the time  the latest thanking me for a gift  she always draws lots of hearts and kisses this makes me certain without doubt, renews me and brings me peace , she is my valentine:)
